Hi!
I’m Josefine, a UX/UI designer in the making with a career as a landscape architect behind me. I am currently in my first year of a two-year UX design program at the Stockholm Technical Institute.

WHY UX DESIGN
Understanding how people think and putting myself in their shoes has always intrigued me. As a landscape architect, I analyze people's behaviors in physical spaces and design accordingly. The same applies to UX, but in the digital realm. I’ve always had a great interest in visual design and have a keen eye for detail, and have seized every opportunity to develop and improve. For instance, I’ve taken a course in graphic design at Berghs SOC and have worked on my own projects, including starting a local cycling community, go.cyclingclub, where I designed our logo and created our visual identity.

The profession of landscape architecture involves many different areas—from concept development and visual design to client presentations. Having the know-how to effectively translate creative ideas into something tangible has been a crucial part of my job, and I’ve learned a great deal from it.

All of this combined has led me to UX/UI design. I hope to integrate all the parts I find interesting and exciting, while I believe and hope I can do a good job.

ABOUT ME
I am a naturally creative, adventurous, and curious person who has always been interested in creation and design. Whether it’s been making photo albums for my friends in high school or decorating my apartment, I’ve always been drawn to design. I’m originally from Luleå but have lived in Stockholm with my partner for over three years. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, cycling, or camping with our rooftop tent.

FINALLY
I believe my experience as a landscape architect, combined with what I’ve already learned in my education, will allow me to contribute a lot, and I’m excited to continue learning.
